OUR TEAM

Brandon Burton is a sport psychology and mental performance consultant in training with over a decade
of experience in applied behavior analysis, psychology, and learning and development. He is passionate
about helping athletes, performers, and professionals better understand the psychological factors that
influence performance and develop practical skills to address them.

Brandon holds a master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and is completing a second master's
degree in Sport Psychology though National University. He is pursuing certification as a Certified Mental
Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, under the
professional mentorship of Dr. Jourdan Johnson, LMFT, CMPC. His approach draws on behavioral science
and psychological skills training, with an emphasis on how thoughts, emotions, learned behaviors, and
environmental factors influence performance.

His areas of focus include confidence, attentional control, emotional regulation, performance anxiety,
and mental preparation. He is also interested in the psychological aspects of injury recovery, including
fear of reinjury, as well as helping athletes respond to mistakes and setbacks. Brandon is particularly
passionate about adapting mental performance strategies for individuals with varying physical,
cognitive, and learning abilities.

Brandon's background in behavioral science and education also shapes his work with coaches and
teams. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms of poor performance, he emphasizes identifying the
factors contributing to performance difficulties, whether related to confidence, attention, emotional
responses, or skill development. His experience in corporate learning and leadership development
brings an additional perspective to working with professionals and organizations, particularly in
communication, behavior, and performance under pressure.
